She Walks

Catherine took her first unaided steps last night! As I suspected, it was motivated by books; I was holding the book she wanted to hear and she was close enough to step toward me. She took one step with her left foot and then fell down, then a few seconds later took two steps. She had been walking sideways along furniture without holding on, but walking forward is different! Of course we missed it on video, but I'm sure she'll be doing more walking soon. Today her nap was delayed because she wanted to stomp her feet a little.
